On 1st August 2015, I received terrible news that Timothy Kok, my junior and friend from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, passed away in an accident. Timothy was a hardworking and sensitive trombonist, and I had the honour of playing in the same brass quintet as him for one semester. To lose him was a great pain to many of us in the conservatory. Going Home was written in dedication to him and his family, and was performed at his wake by trombonists from all over Singapore. It has also been transcribed for wind band. Both versions are available for free download in this page.
